Writing

It’s All in Writing

I found my voice through my early work in localism and have gone on to write columns, forewords, blogs, and articles for publications across the country. My published pieces have appeared in everything from The Nonprofit Quarterly and Elephant Journal to more local publications like New Mexico’s Green Fire Times. I’ve even worked on a cookbook with food historian and “Pope of Peppers,” Dave Dewitt.

Many people say individual businesses are part of an ecosystem, but it is harder to show what that means in practical, actionable ways. When Vicki wrote about how the small businesses she works with had to build new community connections amid the pandemic, she brought those businesses and their stories to life.
