I’ve been writing all my life, but found my voice through my localism work. In 2010 I began writing about my personal experience, connection, and inspiration with localism for the Local Voice column in the Green Fire Times. While growing Delicious New Mexico, I was fortunate to work on a local cookbook featuring over 145 recipes from all over New Mexico with author and the Pope of Peppers, Dave Dewitt.
Travel for work and play is a priority for me, inspiring to me tell more stories, and the greatest way to both expand my horizons and stretch my legs. I have been known to eat my way around a city or two, but coming back to the high desert of New Mexico always renews me. My casita in the Santa Fe foothills is my sweet retreat writing spot.
